Here's a modern fly that was tied for Steelies.  Maybe it would do well in eastern Canada for AS.  It's plenty sturdy, with a good mix of resilience and brightness.  I'm particularly happy with the use of goose biots as veilings. They are tied in slightly splayed on the bottom and widely splayed on top.  The shortish strip wing is Macaw covert and the crests are Amgold.  Any thoughts?
