New and looking for inspiration

Here on an invite from the Kiwi-hater.
I tie stuff...average-like.
Razored all my Classics...but here to learn.
My interest lies in subtle interpretation of Classics, as a general rule they tend to bore me stupid...which is to say I am impressed by your skill and expertise and tenacity.

So excuse the bugs below that should otherwise find a home in other threads.

KELSON's GLEN GRANT
Only other version I've been taken by was tied by S. Dean, sorry Shonny.
It's a pig with lipstick, so making it sexy takes some doing.
No wool a la Sawada...only thing I want from Berlin is our bikes back...those who know.

Well this gives you some idea. Hope to have some traditional knitting to post this year.
Best of 2019 to you all, may it bring you peace, love and soul.

Great tying !! I like the diversity in your mix. I also like your introduction. Let's see more !! And feel free to join in and contribute your observations on the work of others

As for the Ranger request.....It's not a rite of passage, but some demonstrated mastery in dressing classics is important to many. My favorite Ranger dressings are variations tied by Ronn Lucas Sr.

Thanks for the welcoming words guys...do appreciate it. I’m likely going to take a stab at that other ugly fly, the Captain Walton. See whether these ham-fists can knit something worthy. Although I appreciate the suggestions re: Rangers, that is a particular kind of ugly that makes me almost vomit in my mouth. Stellar hey? Haha...
