Low horned river fly

Scarlet and B&G macaw supply the low slung horns on this fly.  They act as outriggers and add to the girth.  There's 9 embossed silver ribs and the Akroyd like hackle was added to the rear to provide better planing in the water.  There's two pics, one shows the horns elevated, perhaps showing the affect of water.  I never got to fish this fly but I met the gentleman who did Smile.  I've been taking more than my share of bandwidth in the General fishing flies forum.  I sure would appreciate if more folks would post their work.  Any thoughts ?
